Anavarwhich is also called the (Oxandrolone) is originally developed by the Doctor Raphael Pappo by sing the brand name of Oxandrin, he used to worked for the Searle laboratories. He discovered Anavar in 1964 which he said was for the treatment of multiple disease including those relating to the muscle. In later times Searle was purchased by Pfizer and anavar was decided to be discontinued.

Chemical formation
The scientific molecular structure of Anavar is 5-alpha-androstan-2-oxa-17 alpha-methyl-17 beta-ol-3-one. While developing the formula, Raphael Pappo synthesized the drug by pulling out its molecular structure from dihydrotestosterone. The key difference is that an oxygen atom is known to replace the methylation and 2 carbon in the 17 position. To be true Oxandrolone was developed to be a gentler Dianabol – more anabolic and less androgenic, hence erasing out many of the undesirable side effects. This was also done by replacing oxygen for the other elements which are generally present in dihydrotestosterone.
